Port of Lakes Entrance, March 17th 2017

Fabulous day for a walk around the Port!  Never tire of seeing it all, and never tire of taking photos of it all!

These HUGE jellyfish were all around the boats,  appearing eerily from the depths, floating along and then vanishing into the mire again!  Very graceful and quite pretty in their own way, and I'm told they are harmless, although they will leave you with a mild rash if you touch them.

The Fishing Fleet
Not all in Port, but enough for some good photos!

And of course, always birds!

Paynesville - March 12 2017

Drive to Paynesville yesterday.  Fantastic day and some beautiful craft out on the water.

The Ferry going back and forth is always interesting to watch.

And the busy main street, provides a hub bub of activity

Always a great place to grab a coffee and sit and watch the world go by!

Lonsdale Eco Cruises shared on Facebook

This is one of the best cruises on the lakes at Lakes Entrance.  Mel and Tony make the trip fun, and you learn so much from them both about the local area and the local wildlife.  Well worth the money!  Check out their page on Facebook.

Even though warm was a great day on the water today ! A slight breeze made it perfect & of course the Dolphins ⚓️

Bullock Island

Took this shot a couple of weeks ago when the weather was nicer, as this lovely boat came back to Lakes Entrance.

This was taken off Bullock Island, a great place to go and watch the boats coming and going through the entrance and from "The Narrows"

On a nice day it can get very busy, and you can often see Dolphins and Seals from this vantage point, as well as the whole range of birds that frequent the area.

Hello Everyone,

It's been a dull, cold day in Lakes Entrance today, so no good photos to share for today.  I'm sure we are all looking forward to some nicer weather soon.

Here are a few shots I took at Lake Bunga a couple of weeks ago.  Just love reflections on water!  Makes such an interesting photo.  You can click on any of the photos for a larger version.
